"A solo sidecar run to Dawson, up the Dempster Highway, and a good three day stay in Inuvik above the Arctic Circle. Some travelers return home with small gifts or T-shirts. I came home with a retired sled dog. . .5000 miles with an adopted Siberian Husky in the sidecar. . . and that's just part of the story". You may even get to meet Ursa!
"The Dempster is one of two roads in North America that crosses the Arctic Circle. The well maintained gravel, sand and dirt Dempster goes north out of Dawson City, Yukon Territory, and ends 550 miles later, across the Arctic Circle, in Inuvik, North West Territory. This will be my story of a solo thirty-five day, 9800 miles trek with the Dempster at the center. Rig: a 2009 R1200GS w/Freedom sidecar. I’ll show loads of photos, and try to answer all your questions."
